Dalton Pate is a freelance director currently located in Los Angeles.

His music video work for labels such as Atlantic, Hopeless, Epitaph, Carpark, Anxiety Blanket, and Run for Cover Records has been featured in various publications, including The New York Times and Rolling Stone.

Dalton’s most recent short, The Flashlight is a Bomb, won awards internationally, premiered at the Malibu Film Festival, and was a semi-finalist at Flicker’s Rhode Island International Film Festival. He is currently in post production on his first feature, Eat the Rind.

Dalton is a graduate of Emerson College, and will happily write or design a treatment for you, just ask. Sometimes he’s playing pinball at Walt’s or laying on the ground on set. He’s also working on a coffee table book on bathrooms.
